Well, kind of? *l* It magically gave me the ability to sob delicately, dramatically, for half an hour straight? I'm still reeling four days later?
I think a lot of my reaction came from the intersection of the movie with several things in my life, and other people might not react as strongly. But the New York Times review (http://movies.nytimes.com/2009/09/16/movies/16bright.html) was very favorable, and I agree with it on most points except for the one about the scene where they trade lines from "La Belle Dame Sans Merci," which I agree is a powerful scene but not necessarily in the sense the reviewer took it.
