I feel like I've seen at least one cinematic Shakespeare adaptation with a pool in a sleeping room. Maybe the Branaugh Othello? Maybe one of the Venetian plays?

Where do you stand on the Logan question? I think he's a character with a great deal of chewy dramatic potential, played by a talented actor, but I never drank the kool-aid on the Logan/Veronica relationship. I wish the writers had found other interesting things to do with him instead. Particularly in the third season, when he's a major player in the trope of "Veronica gets in trouble and a big strong male has to rescue her" that recurs with even more nauseating frequency.
