I wore mine! Every time I see one on someone (usually from early voting), it reminds me to vote, so I think that it has some use other than the geek factor.
(I was really quite gleeful to get my first sticker a few years ago, after voting absentee mostly and never getting a sticker in the district in which I grew up. I'd actually never seen such a thing until one of the West Wing election episodes, and my initial reaction was to wonder whether they were a particularly DC institution...)
