Unfortunately, I feel like her layered ensembles really work best in Northern California coastal climates, as Boston summers require me to wear as few items as possible, and Boston winters work best for me if I just wear a normal outfit and a massive parka over it. Too much layering doesn't work in the winter here because indoors are usually heated to the degree that you feel like you're in a sauna, and you would have to slowly take off all 16 sassy layers to be able to breathe, and then put them all back on again with a parka on top to be able to go outside again...
We should create an East Coast version of Fashion for Nerds!
