In net, it certainly was. Perhaps precision is the wrong word, but the dances themselves were much more intricate than I'm used to--no Virginia reel here! It was a bit more decorous and Austenian. Most ceilidhs have been more a barely contained wild flinging oneself at the music.
I can't wait to introduce these people to the Boston Urban Ceilidh. It will be awesome. And though the techno music was weird, I may whisper about the lights in the planners' ears.
