She's a bit of an adrenaline junkie, though! I totally get what you're saying. I think she's perfect for him because she's prepared to take on whatever he's going to take her through. NOT because she's gonna be some kind of steadying influence. Even when he's saying horrible things to her and she has no reason to be sure he's just trying to create space, she deals with it. She also doesn't try to bring him back or anything, which would be the nurturer move.
