This happens to me! I had a inter-war thing this past Spring when I read all of the Peter Wimsey books (Gaudy Night!), the Montmaray books, and the Maisie Dobbs books. Also Downton.
A few years ago everything I read had incest, which was slightly disturbing. It was the summer I read the Game of Thrones books, Juliet Marillier's Seven Swans series, and one of the Cadmer books.
