I read somewhere about those traditions, but no, I've not been assigned anybody nor have I been carrying anything too weird around... yet. The semester is young; we've not even started classes. I am in fact being treated like a fresher, right down to the "university is different than college [or high school, for Americans]" talks that they disguised as Essential Information for International Students. I'm trying not to be overly critical, but already I'm appreciating Wellesley more and more in my time of absence.
