Wow, you've just brought back a whole bunch of scary memories of being traumatized by Demetrius, my 9th grade history teacher, who made us read aloug long, boring, and sometimes disturbing passages from Herodotus. Generally speaking, the more disturbing the passage, the greater number of times we had to read said passage aloud. Don't worry, hon. You'll get through it.
