I have taken up as a new hobby Being Cruel to Clothing. As a result, an old pair of jeans has had the seams ripped out and now sports some snazzy racing stripes. *diabolical grin* I am unholy gleeful about it. This just goes to show that I can do anything my mother has been trying to get me to do for years if I think it's my idea. Including sewing. Hah!
I will now proceed with the standard Abbreviated Weekly Update.
Thursday, or maybe Wednesday - The World Famous Lipizzaner Stallion Show. *sigh* Pretty, pretty horses! It's nice to go to these events and be able to say things like "look at them doing that pretty shoulder-in! My horse hates doing that!" and other such informed comments. They're so beautiful, but they must be a pain to keep clean, being practically white and all. It's bad enough with a horse that's already dirt-colored.
Saturday - Center for Tolerance and Non-violence Origami Potluck & Barbecue. In which I showcase my Parking Attendant skills.
Sunday - The Horse's Day Off. I sleep in until 9 instead of the usual 5:30.
Tomorrow - Oregon Shakespeare Festival trip. Whee! Whee indeed, except not so much for the 5-hour drive. Luckily I am not in charge. Ashland is quite possibly the coolest town in the U.S., and I have a sneaky plan to go try on insanely expensive hand-woven dresses at this one shop near the Elizabethan Theatre. Let us just say that if ever I am invited to the Oscars, and somebody else pays for it, I will wear one of them.
