I have forced one of the characters in Menander’s Dyskolos to say, “Excellent!” Mua-hahahaha!

Hahahaha! Have just had wonderful breakfast conversation, ranging from obscure Greek myths (So, this guy Sisyphus, right…) through Star Trek (Voyager wonderfulness, Enterprise bashing, Janeway adoration, TNG debating, the Utter Wrongness of Chakotay/Seven, concession that Phlox is cool, Tom Paris love….), Anime (in which I confess my traumatisation by the Tale of Genji), Power Rangers and whole host of TV shows (yes,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
edajaram, that means She-Ra and Captain Planet), and finally back to Tom Paris via Captain Proton’s being modeled on Commando Cody. Whoever that is.
Right. It’s time for me to employ my new paper-writing philosophy, which is as follows: I know something you don’t know. And, unlike these oh-so-smug Presocratics, I will now proceed to tell you what it is.
