I confess: I've been reading P.G. Wodehouse lately, instead of practicing like mad in preparation for Boston Harbor. It's hard to work up enthusiasm when one's untutored audience says nothing but "You really should work on that bowing" and "What happened? It used to sound fine" and things of that sort. Much better to observe the psychology of the individual in literary action.
