Dissecting a mink's circulatory system has given me a whole new appreciation for the line "I would eat his heart in the marketplace!". Oh, Beatrice, can I be you? Why yes, I am in a phase of total Shakespeare fangirliness. Luckily for me, Shakes is performing Richard II soon. *loves Shakes*

Back to Lysias. Just when I was actually starting to not-completely-hate Antiphon, too. I mean, c'mon - how can you not like a guy who writes "I believe that those who have been wronged are now a concern to the gods *dun dun dun*... the ones below"?

Off to work on my presentation in which I shall argue that long-distance trade in Classical Athens was a mechanism for social climbers: not just for those engaging in trade, but also for those taking care of their money *cough*Pasion*cough*. And of course, there will be pirates. And shipwrecks. And mortise-and-tenon construction. Because I am incapable of giving a presentation about Greece without talking about mortise-and-tenon construction.
