Catherynne Valente read 'the satyr and the selkie's tale'. it tapped into my emotions almost immediately. and of course, having a selkie in it, I was very sad. but gorgeous and beautiful and wonderful! and... I bought Labyrinth from her, which has me super happy as I've been wanting to read that for ages now. ^_^
