we had a small but stalwart audience who whooped in appropriate places and were most appreciative of the sing-along bits. Props to all the fiddlers, flautists, groupies, Pub people, and casual passersby!
yay for the audience!!! despite the size, they were absolutely fantastic!! & fiona, your solos were wonderful. makes me wonder what you will come back with from scotland :).
He bit my toe. Hence the vicious feathered pipsqueak comment. There are other names I could think of. Oh well. What exactly is the function of toenails, anyway? I could think of an evolutionary explanation, but even so they seem excessively vestigial to me.
according to rachel, you threw something at him & props to you! personally, i think i would have given him a nice swift kick & sent the thing flying, but that's just me. *evil grin* & i think toenails are there to help you walk. i heard that someplace but i don't remember when or where. anywho, back to researching scottish dudes with cool names who go raiding the english. :)
