I actually got Rocket Ship Galileo out of the library to maybe use in my paper alongside Podkayne (you know the minute I start ranting about something that I'm going to have to write about it). But I can't bring myself to start reading it... XD
*snort* I think maybe there are more crazed fictional biologists because people get pretty worked up about their own body components, as opposed to the Pure and Beautiful Laws of Physics (Misuses of), these days. Also because lots of the rah-rah-science books got published while Watson and Crick were still discovering the structure of DNA.
