Back from BEA!

SOMANYBOOKS.

I started reading my ARC of Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor while hanging out in the ABA lounge. The cover matched my shoes. And 2/3 of the way through, I think I love it.

American Booksellers Association, or something like that. One of the perks of working for a member bookstore. It was possibly the best thing about the whole experience--when one is tired and sweaty and hungry and just wants to sit down, lo! a lounge just for you, full of candy and lemonade and enough couches for everyone.
