Ovid in exile
Jul. 31st, 2011 11:25 amI've been incommunicada for the past two weeks because my computer was having screen issues and I was on vacation and then Ovid was at the Apple store for repairs, but he's back and in good shape now. So prepare for forthcoming blather! What did I miss?

of course, that's if you instantly care about the K-dramas I care about, which isn't necessarily a long shot, but still...
Also, I'm definitely not the only one in this, but the DDoS attacks were really bad, and I've been getting spam comments when no one else can, and I'm thinking about moving my journal elsewhere. But! I don't wanna leave any friends behind. X)

I do want to see Myung Wol, but may save it to watch with
*sigh* DDoS again, huh. For me, LJ provides a kind of community that has exactly the right distance between me and other people. Facebook is too close, and a lot of other forums (fora?) just don't have flists the same way. I LOVE MY FLIST. *clings* Although I was definitely thinking about getting a non-LJ journal for Srs Literary Criticism (and Flail) before I realized I was too lazy to actually write anything. XD

Date: 2011-08-01 03:57 pm (UTC)I'll be here.
I started this blog (like my last serious one back when Xanga.com was a viable blog platform and all my friends were on it) with the hope it would sometime become my "pro writer" blog, but I don't think it ever will be, and right now it's okay to blog to my little posse of friends about K-Drama and writing stupidity.
I get this itch to move on to bigger and better things every once in a while, and usually I ride it out with more grace, but the LJ-is-down annoyance kind of peaked at a bad time XD

Date: 2011-08-01 04:00 pm (UTC)I'm already rewatching Myung Wol episodes a couple of times each, so as long as you *do* plan to watch someday I will be ready to sqeefest with you at any time.
CITY HUNTER
I read spoilers for the last two episodes, just in case, and am glad I did. I have to nerve myself to watch the episodes now, but I'd rather know which way tragedy lies than be surprised, honestly.
SO. It looks like it's AWESOME to the very end, and I'm so happy I watched it even though it's darker than I usually like.
Lee Min Ho. Where are you going to GO from here?
