timerippleAhahahahaha! I am so evil. Who needs cable TV with a brain like mine? A whole section of GG&HTOTW...E,SI exposition just happened. MAJOR exposition. And I am SO. AMUSED. *does Evil Dance of Exposition and Genius-ness* How did I not think of this before?!
I have black strappy shoes. Black strappy shoes that fit, are moderately comfortable, and are not shiny. Also, they make my toes look really good ;)
I am probably the only person in the history of the DMV to say this, but I actually love the DMV (at 9:20 am when there are only two other people there and the clerk-types are morning people). Have applied for new driver's license, gotten new photo (big plus!) for new license, and registered to vote. All within a 15-minute span. Now I can stop tearing the house apart looking for my previous voter registration form that SOMEBODY lost. I love the DMV!
Am leaving tomorrow for SF, where will try to accost Melanie as she lands on these foreign and uncouth shores. Thankfully, am no longer on Epic Quest for the Perfect Orange Tank Top (long story, v. painful one. Am scarred for life). LOVE the world. Although not doors with sharp edges (the bruises on my toes have convinced me to renounce humanity and go live in Rivendell, where they have nice Art Deco-inspired furniture with no pointy edges with which to injure myself).

And yes, you are nuts to love the DMV. I'm dreading my visit because I have to retake the learner's test because my permit expires tomorrow, and I need to take the driver's test and get my driver's license after that :(
