in which I bash ignorant scientists and comment on skulking

Ah, the joy of saying horrible things about incompetent scientists who don't understand genetics, evolutionary theory, or that flies are not great models for humans, no matter what their mating habits may be. I had to remove some things from my paper that were *ahem* inappropriate for general consumption, displaying a lack of tact and an unrefined taste for punishment of said scientists.

Skulking is almost as much fun.

Now I have to make up two names, among other things: one for a poet and one for an unimportant royal envoy of the Archaic period, preferably Greek.

I may also have to make up a joke. A poet, a minor envoy, and a fish-pickle merchant all walk into a bar at the Piraeus...
