You'd think a course on picturebooks would be automatically awesome, right?
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
It isn't just that the course is monstrously disorganized, or that I feel totally lost as to what I'm supposed to be learning on any given day. It's that I find myself resenting the non-advertised demands it puts on me; demands for stuff that could be fun if I didn't also have a developing attitude problem towards them.
The attitude problem is what really pisses me off, because it gets in the way every time I try to focus and carve out some plan of attack. I tell myself to suck it up and learn as much as possible, because I'm going to need to know this stuff and have informed taste about picturebooks some day.
But I really don't want to.
