There is a CD. It is a real CD. That people pay money for, which five people have already done. An actual CD. With our names on it. It is beautiful, and it is pretty thanks to [livejournal.com profile] edajaram's mad computer art skillz. It is called "The Night We Had The Goats... For Breakfast", and it has "The Fiddleheads" in big shiny letters on the front and on both sides and there is a goat. The goat's name is Simon. There are several grammatical errors which make this batch a Collectable Limited Edition. Five of us have just returned from opening for Emerald Rae at her CD release party (she is our instructor and she is awesome and you should all buy her CD, "Contemplaytion") at Club Passim.

That's right. We got to play at Club Passim. SQUEE!

Also, my 10-second solo does not suck. You can buy the CD for a mere $10 at our St Patrick's Day Celebration/CD Release Party on Wednesday, at any of our upcoming concerts, or by contacting any of us personally.

Under Milk Wood still has one more weekend! Come see meeee!

Philosophy midterm, what philosophy midterm? Who needs Descartes anyway? Being a musician is glamorous.

I seem to be coming to the same conclusion every time I write a philosophy paper, which is that Nietzsche just liked being a bastard about everything.

Doesn't matter if the paper's not actually about him, either. I know he did it just to annoy people.

That's in May, right? I'm sure we will be. Are you going to be visiting?

Good to know that people won't have to wait for concerts or listen through the Munger walls (like we of the first generation of Fiddlehead fans) to hear you guys. Hurrah!

Thanks :) Are you a "Hercules" fan, or just amused?

Mostly just amused, although I did watch a few episodes back when I had regular access to a TV. I never saw enough to quite figure out what was going on.

Also, I love Jeeves & Wooster.

I never saw enough to quite figure out what was going on.

Just Hercules and Iolaus saving Greece from all of Hera's monsters. And then there were the parody episodes that were Silly. And really stupid, and really hilarious. It also gets confusing when they re-use actors (the budgets for this show, and Xena the Sister-Show, were incredibly low, no surprise there) so each actor, even on occasion the main ones--when they did alternate universes and things--played at least three or four different characters, especially the guest stars. Also fun is recognizing people like Karl Urban, Marton Csokas and Craig Parker in the episodes, each of whom played at least three different people, although Karl Urban was mostly Caesar on Xena. They have no value as art, nor really as a television series, but they're great if you want lots and lots of cheap laughs :D Autolycus, the King of Thieves, is probably my favorite in that respect.

Also, I love Jeeves & Wooster

:) Who doesn't?
