HOLY ****ING ****.

The narrative temporal mechanics of this picturebook just BLEW MY MIND.

That venti soy iced chai from Starbucks could have something to do with it too, I guess.

But A;LSKDFNAKSDNFAEHTA;HFDKSNFASK;FKSD AWESOME YOU GUYS THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR HOW AWESOME THIS IS. (Which is kind of a problem because I'm trying to write a paper here. But whatever.)

Also I got to use the phrase "temporal mechanics" in a sentence. NERDGASM. XD

SO MUCH AWESOME. CANNOT DEAL. SO MUCH AWESOME.

sounds cool! have you read any of their other books?

you told me when you visited that you'd come up with a list of picture books that you've read in the last year that you would particularly recommend - I'd love to get recs! the last picture book I read that I really liked is The King's Equal by Katherine Paterson, ill. Vladimir Vagin. this illustrator has done a book with Jane Yolen (The Firebird) that I want to get ahold of. ^_^

...I did? Oops. Totally forgot. I'll put "make picturebook list" on my nonexistent to-do list, maybe get it put together after the semester's over.
