Fiddleheads concert is finally over; we had a small but stalwart audience who whooped in appropriate places and were most appreciative of the sing-along bits. Props to all the fiddlers, flautists, groupies, Pub people, and casual passersby! At any rate, that's over with, my SEQs are done, and I can go back to insulting that vicious feathered pipsqueak in peace.

He bit my toe. Hence the vicious feathered pipsqueak comment. There are other names I could think of. Oh well. What exactly is the function of toenails, anyway? I could think of an evolutionary explanation, but even so they seem excessively vestigial to me. And I think we can all agree that evolutionary theory is *ahem* not yet perfect. Because if it was, then we'd be treating it as nonfalsifiable, and according to Popper at that point it would no longer be scientific... or maybe it's not really perfect at that point, maybe we just think it is, but what if it's not? *whimper* Make it stop!

yay for the audience!!! despite the size, they were absolutely fantastic!! & fiona, your solos were wonderful. makes me wonder what you will come back with from scotland :).

according to rachel, you threw something at him & props to you! personally, i think i would have given him a nice swift kick & sent the thing flying, but that's just me. *evil grin* & i think toenails are there to help you walk. i heard that someplace but i don't remember when or where. anywho, back to researching scottish dudes with cool names who go raiding the english. :)
